Name: Fadila Makram

Abilities: Dreamseeing, and ability to manipulate smoke to some small extent.
History:
Fadila was born and raised in Cairo, into what she always referred to as a perfectly ordinary family, which was the extent of what she ever told anyone about them. Before her powers came to her, Fadila had an elder brother, two loving parents and a younger sister. But only two days after she discovered that she was 'special', her parents suddenly divorced, and she, along with her younger sister and their mother moved out of the only house that she'd ever known.

Her mother expected life to carry on as usual, telling them to pretend as if their father and their brother were simply dead. Fadila tried-- and succeeded to adjust, and though her sister cried every night, she never did. Someone had to be the strong one in the family, seeing as the men were gone, after all.

Fadila was eighteen when her Dreamseeing ability manifested (she pretended the dreams were just that). Fadila was nineteen when she saw the deaths of her mother and her sister (she passed it off as a nightmare). Fadila was twenty when she finally believed.

Now twenty-three, Fadila Makram is a seemingly carefree, good-natured young woman who works at a bookshop, though she's all too constantly complained about for 'sleeping on the job.'

She insists it's not her fault, but never does care to explain why.

Personality:
Fadila is cheerful, casual, somewhat tomboy-ish and takes most things in stride, including this whole 'destiny' thing people make such a big deal about. She pushes aside any inner turmoils and focuses on positive things. And if there aren't any in plain sight, she simply makes something up and carries on her way.

She has a lot to say, usually, and though some tell her she's 'full of crap', she's always been under the impression that she was full of a lot of other things which she insists she can provide diagrams for.

Fadila believes what she wants to believe, says what she wants to say, but hears and sees what she knows that she needs to hear. Fadila Makram is a lot of things, but blind isn't one of them.

Appearance:
Fadila's most striking features are her eyes-- an odd bright yellow, often described as cat-like. She has dark skin and long, dark, purple hair that is almost always kept up in a ponytail. Fadila is reasonably tall, or at least gives off the impression of being so. She tends to wear what she feels like when she wants to, but mostly dresses in whatever she finds comfortable or practical.
